Production Executive A hardworking, intelligent, resourceful manager with strong initiative and drive; must be a good team builder and player focused, assertive and very computer literate. He should also possess. a. Core skills: Organization and co-ordination Production planning and executive materials planning and management Quality Assurance management analytical Financial Management (Finance, Budgeting and Costs Control) Industry knowledge b. Generic skills; Leadership Communication (oral & Written), and Presentation Problem solving Strategic Management. Responsibilities: Ensure procurement, delivery and on-time availability of raw material; lead the manufacturing team, ensuring that production targets are met in terms of delivery time, volume, quality and cost. He will report directly to the Manufacturing Director. Qualifications, experience and age A good first degree in chemical Engineering (a degree in any other engineering discipline, with production management experience will also be considered) and an MBA in industrial. Production or General Management Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineer (or any other related professional membership) and COREN Registration, will be an advantage. Minimum of 5 years experience at top factory Management level 35 – 45 years of age 2. Group Human Resource Manager A highly resourceful Manager, reflective, with derive and commitment to corporate strategy. He should possess: a. Core Skill: Organization and co-ordination Industrial relations Management Personal Management Motivation Recruitment & Placement Corporate Affairs Excellent Computer Literacy b. Generic Skills (as in 1b) Responsibilities: Manage the Human Resource team, developing processes for a proactive HR Strategy and contributing to the formulation of the overall business vision; recruiting people to drive the strategy focus of the company attracts, manages, trains and maintains the employees needed to achieve these goals. He will repot directly to the Chief Executive. Qualification, Experience and Age A first degree in Social Sciences and an MBA or MSc, in industrial Relations/Human Resource Management Membership of Chartered Inst. of Personnel Mgt of Nigeria will be an advantage 7 – 10 years experience as an HR Manager and understanding of Nigeria Labour Laws 35 – 45 years of age. 3. Utilities Maintenance Engineer A resourceful and focused engineer, with bias for industry. He should possess. a. Core Skills Plats operation Maintenance Planning & management Spare Parts Administration Man Management Cost Control b. Generic Skill (a in 1b) Responsibilities Supervise the operation and undertake the maintenance of Utility plants and equipments which include Steam Boilers, Electricity Generators, water boreholes, Compressed air plant etc. With associated supply and distribution systems. Ensure availability of the plants to meet production targets, monitor and maintain required spare parts. Qualifications, Experience and age First degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering & Membership of the Nigerian Society of engineers. Registration with COREN will be an advantage. 7 years post qualification experience in the manufacturing industry 30 – 35 years of age 4. Shift Production Manager A result oriented, self managed and high integrity Manager, with drive to meet targets and other production objectives. He should posses a. Core skill Organization & Co-ordination Production Planning and execution Materials Planning and Management Quality Assurance management Analytical skills Man Management b. Generic Skill (as in 1b) Responsibilities Take charge of factory operations during his shift period, particularly during the bight shift, including personnel management and security details. Undertaken proper production planning and control and availability of materials to ensure production target are met; liaise with engineering department to ensure adequate and proper maintenance of machine and facilities for production usage. Qualifications experience and ages Good first degree in Chemical Engineering Membership of the Nigerian Society of engineers (or any other related professional membership), and COREN registration will be an advantage. 5 – 7 years in production in the Soaps/Detergents (for similar) industry. 28 – 35 years of age 5. Quality Control Manager A highly resourceful manager, with knack for good quality and conversant with contemporary quality issues and practice in soaps, detergents, and allied industry. Core Skill Versatile skills in quality audits Organization and co-ordination Materials Planking and management Quality Assurance Management Analytical Skills Man Management Generic Skill (as in 1b) Responsibilities Undertake regular process audits, Undertake and follow-up on raw materials and finished products testing, ensuring that they fall within standard quality marks. Undertake frequently, quality audits, data processing and advising production on Quality issues. Ensure documentation of all processes ensuring compliance with ISO9000, SAICM and GHS implementation. Qualification, experience and age A good first degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Biochemistry. A uy6master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry and/or Membership of Institute of Chemical Analysis will be an advantage. 5 – 7 years experience in quality control/assurance management in Soaps, detergents and allied manufacturing. 30 – 35 years of age.
